FOR FAMILIES
Finding help should feel like relief.
Here's exactly how Maison works — what to expect, what we'll ask, and how we'll support you from the first conversation onward.
THE FULL PROCESS
From first conversation to your front door.
A thoughtful process, shaped by experience and attention to the details that matter most.
01
Inquiry
You share a little about your family through our intake form. We follow up with a real conversation about the support you're looking for — your schedule, your children, and the season you're in.

05
The Search
We source candidates and personally interview each one, looking beyond experience to communication, reliability, and fit.
The Match
We present our top two to three candidates, each aligned with your needs and home, along with our own perspective on why.
Meet & Trial
We coordinate a meet-and-greet and a trial day, so you can experience the fit firsthand before deciding.
Placement
When you have found your person, we help with the work agreement, fair pay, and clear terms — so everyone begins on the same page.
06
Ongoing Support
We check in at 30, 60, and 90 days, and remain a trusted point of contact well beyond.
WHY FAMILIES CHOOSE MAISON
What sets us apart.
A real process, not a directory.
You're introduced to people, not left alone with a list.
Matched with intention.
We weigh the things a resume can't show: presence, communication, and temperament.
Vetting you can trust.
Background checks, reference verification, personal interviews — every time, no exceptions.
Support that continues.
We don't disappear after placement. We stay close as your family grows and changes.
FAMILY INTAKE FORM
Start your search.
The form below helps us understand your family before our first conversation. It takes only a few minutes — the more you share, the more tailored our search will be.
A Note On Investment
Maison works on a placement fee model, with pricing shaped by the scope of your search and the level of support you need. We're happy to walk through it openly on our first call — no guesswork, no pressure.
QUESTIONS FAMILIES ASK
Good questions, answered.
-
It varies with the role and your family’s timeline, but most placements are completed within two to four weeks of our first conversation. We move thoughtfully — not slowly.
-
Every caregiver is personally interviewed by our team — and we check references, run background screenings, and assess both skill and temperament before anyone is introduced to a family.
-
Always. We coordinate a meet-and-greet and, when appropriate, a trial day — so you can see how the caregiver fits with your family before making a final decision.
-
We stay close through the first 90 days. If something isn’t working, we’ll work with you to understand why and, if needed, re-open the search.
-
Yes. We guide you through drafting a work agreement and setting up payroll, and can connect you with a household employment specialist if needed.
-
Maison currently serves families across Stark and Summit Counties.
-
That’s completely normal — and a good reason to reach out. We’ll ask a few questions, listen carefully, and help you figure out what kind of support makes the most sense.
