FOR CAREGIVERS

Care is a calling. We help you build it into a career.

Maison connects experienced, dedicated caregivers with families who value them — and who are looking for exactly what you bring to a home.

WHY JOIN MAISON

Why caregivers work with us.

Families who value you.

We place caregivers with families who understand that great care is skilled, meaningful work — and who treat it that way.

A real advocate.

We help navigate fair pay, clear expectations, and a written agreement — so you start every placement on solid, professional footing.

The right fit, not just any job.

We match thoughtfully, considering your strengths, experience, and the kind of home where you'll thrive.

Support that continues.

We stay in touch after placement. If a question or challenge comes up, you have someone to call.

WHO WE PLACE

Who we’re looking for.

Maison places caregivers across several roles — nannies, sitters, and mother's helpers. Families come to us with a range of needs, which means there's room for a range of experience and availability.

We look for caregivers who are:

  • Experienced in caring for children, whether professionally or in another dedicated capacity.

  • Reliable, communicative, and genuinely present with the families they support.

  • Comfortable with the standards of professional placement — background checks, references, CPR certification.

  • Looking for the right match, not simply the fastest one.

Interview

If it looks like a fit, we'll set up a personal interview to get to know you — your background, your approach, and what you're looking for.

Vetting

We complete reference checks and background screening, the standard step that gives families confidence and protects you, too.

Matching

When a family's needs align with your experience and availability, we introduce you — with context on both sides, so the meeting starts well.

Placement & Support

Once you're placed, we stay available as a point of contact for both you and the family.

QUESTIONS CAREGIVERS ASK

Good questions, answered.

  • No. Applying to and joining the Maison caregiver network is always free for caregivers.

  • Full-time and part-time nanny positions, occasional and recurring sitter work, and mother's helper roles. Availability varies with what families are seeking at a given time.

  • A personal interview, reference checks, and a background screening completed before placement. CPR certification is expected; we're glad to point you toward a course if you need one.

  • We consider your experience, strengths, availability, and the kind of home where you'll do your best work — then introduce you only to families who genuinely fit.

  • Yes. We help make sure compensation is fair and that expectations are clearly written down, so you begin every placement on professional footing.

  • We currently work with families across Stark and Summit Counties.
